Privacy notice
Last updated: 19 October 2026
The short version: this website collects nothing about you by default. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts. The Money Health Check runs entirely in your browser — your answers are never sent or stored anywhere (unless you choose the "email me my score" option, which puts the score in your confirmation email and nothing else). The only data we ever process is what you actively give us (booking a call, buying a product, subscribing to the newsletter, emailing us) — details below.
Who is responsible
Arclane Lab is operated by Francisco Pinheiro, sole trader, EU. Contact: arclanelab@gmail.com.
What data this site processes
- Nothing by default. Pages are static files; there are no cookies, no analytics tools, and no advertising pixels on this site.
- Money Health Check: runs 100% in your browser (client-side JavaScript). Answers and scores never leave your device — unless you use the optional "email me my score" button, which includes your score in the subscription confirmation email. The score is not stored anywhere: not on our server, not in a database.
- Discovery-call booking: if you click "book a call," you leave this site and book with our scheduling provider — Calendly. Calendly processes the data you give it (name, email, your answers to the booking questions) under its own privacy notice and a data-processing agreement. We keep booking data for 12 months after our last contact, then delete it.
- Email: if you email us, we process your message to reply (legitimate interest / contract preparation) and keep it for 12 months after our last contact, then delete it.
- Hosting: this site is served by Vercel; standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) are processed transiently for security and delivery.
- If you buy a product: purchases go through Gumroad, which acts as merchant of record — they process your payment and share your name and email with us. We use those only to deliver the product, provide support and send product updates (lawful basis: contract performance). Buyers are never added to marketing emails automatically — the newsletter is opt-in only.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe to The Sunday Review, we store your email with Resend (our email provider) to send it (lawful basis: consent, confirmed by double opt-in). Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
If you become a client
Coaching data (intake answers, session notes, dashboard entries) is processed under a separate privacy notice provided with the coaching agreement — lawful basis: contract performance, with consent for optional items (e.g., recordings, testimonials). Client data is never entered into AI tools without anonymization.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of your data, and object to processing, by emailing arclanelab@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in your country.
Complaints and disputes
You can file a complaint in the electronic Livro de Reclamações. If you are an EU consumer, disputes may also be settled via an alternative dispute resolution (RAL) entity; the list is available at consumidor.gov.pt.
